Vicmap User Groups

Vicmap User Group meetings are conducted by Spatial Information Infrastructure, Department of Sustainability and Environment, to provide a forum for Vicmap users (and non users) to share their experiences, raise issues and get updates on the latest developments with Vicmap and associated activities.

Vicmap User Group Objectives

To provide a forum for Vicmap users and other interested parties to meet and discuss issues and developments surrounding the State of Victoria's spatial framework Vicmap products, data and services.

The user group aims are to :
Update customers on product developments, share experiences with other users, provide information on current industry trends, developments and policies that effect the products and services, provide a forum for users to have their say.

Who Should Attend

Current Vicmap users and any other interested parties who are involved in the spatial industry, such as, surveyors, valuers, local government officers, natural resources and environment managers, GIS analysts and users, GPS analysts and users, business analysts, marketers and anyone interested in land and information management, location based services, customer analysis and business improvements that can be obtained through the use of spatial information.
