Spatial Information Infrastructure (SII) is responsible for developing and managing Victoria’s fundamental spatial information and for the Department of Sustainability and Environment’s (DSE’s) corporate spatial information resources.

Noted here is the Department’s Spatial Information Infrastructure, Victorian Spatial Counci, Partnering with Government & Value Adding opportunities, & Customised Mapping. Victorian Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (VSSSI). ANZLIC is a national spatial information council that develops policies, standards and procedures to manage spatial information.

Spatial Policy
The Victorian Spatial Council partners with Spatial Information Infrastructure DSE in initiating and developing policy for the Victorian spatial information industry, and is available on their website. Key policies include the Victorian Spatial Information Strategy and the Spatial Information Management Framework Guidelines.
