Vicmap Position - GPSnet

Vicmap Position - GPSnet™ is a positioning and navigation correction service for Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) users, throughout Victoria, Australia.

GPSnet™ is the fundamental infrastructure supporting consistent, homogenous and reliable satellite positioning and navigation in Victoria. Using CORS networks like GPSnet™ a contemporary and widely accessible means of determining positions and heights relative to nationally defined datums to a high degree of absolute accuracy.

GPSnet™ augments the State's:

network of traditional geodetic and survey ground marks used by surveyors,
positional information such as horizontal and/or vertical coordinate values of those marks; and
management and delivery systems (such as the Survey Mark Enquiry Service - SMES).
