Instructions to complete and print an interactive form
When you open the interactive form the fields should be highlighted. If the highlighted fields do not appear automatically you are advised to click on the ‘Highlight Fields’ tick box in the right-hand corner of the page. This will make it easier for you to see the form fields when completing the form.
Place your cursor at the start of the field you want to fill in. To move between form fields use the left mouse button to click on the relevant field. Alternatively, use the ‘Tab’ key to move to the next field.
All forms have a drop down box for inserting the date. The drop down box will appear on the right-hand side of the form when you place your cursor in the date field. Some forms also have a drop down box in the signature field.
After entering the information please make sure that you have completed all the fields and check that the information is correct before you print.
If you need additional pages to provide further information the Annexure Page must be used.

Forms must be printed in black on A4 white 80 gsm paper. Use Adobe Reader print option to print forms.
Please note: Interactive forms can be downloaded, filled out on-screen and then printed using a PDF viewer. You cannot save an interactive PDF form with the information you have added. If you want to keep a copy for your records you are advised to print two copies of the form.
Instructions to complete forms by hand
If completing a Land Victoria form by hand, information should be legibly written in black or blue ink or typed. The use of correction fluid or self-correcting typewriter ribbon is not permitted. The back of the forms must not be used, the Annexure Page must be used for any additional pages.Troubleshooting

From 4 February 2013, Land Victoria has a revised Made Available process, where one party provides a Certificate of Title to facilitate the lodgement of a transaction by another party.
The new process requires the customer who produces the Certificate of Title to present with it a completed Nomination Request form.
This process replaces the former 'Order to Register' process.

Subdivision Act forms
Commencement of the Subdivision (Registrar’s Requirements) Regulations 2011 on 8 October 2011 required the replacement of a number of Subdivision forms.
Use of the new forms will not be mandatory until 8 October 2012, however customers are encouraged to begin using them as soon as possible.

Transfer of Land Act forms
New Forms
Land Victoria has introduced new versions of the interactive PDF forms for:
- Discharge of Mortgage or Charge
- Transfer of Land (replaces T1 form)
- Mortgage
The key advantages of these forms are that:
- they can be completed online and printed for lodgement at Land Victoria
- they can be saved to the user's computer, either fully or partially completed.
All other existing PDF forms will continue to be available in their current format.
Transfers
The Transfer of Land form can also be used for the following transactions:
- changing the manner of holding
- transferring property from husband and wife to husband or wife
- transferring property from husband or wife to husband and wife.

Leases
Lease Form LThis form may be used for a lease of freehold land exceeding three years . It replaces Form 26 of the Transfer of Land (General) Regulations 2004.
Sub-Lease Form SL
This form may be used for a sub-lease of a registered lease exceeding three years affecting freehold land and for a sub-lease of Crown land. It replaces Form 29 of the Transfer of Land (General) Regulations 2004.

Climate Change Act forms
The Climate Change Act 2010 operates from 1 July 2011. Among other things, the Act establishes a framework for property rights and management agreements regarding vegetation, carbon in vegetation and soil carbon.
A forest carbon right may be:
- a carbon sequestration right (the right to the economic benefits associated with carbon sequestration);
- a forestry right (the right to establish and manage vegetation on land); or
- a soil carbon right (the right to the economic benefits of carbon sequestered underground).

Fees
In accordance with the Monetary Units Act 2004, Land Victoria lodgement fees, expressed in number of fee units, change on 1 July each year. Search fees and other Land Victoria charges are also adjusted.
Payment options:
From regular customers, Land Victoria accepts cash, direct debit, bank cheques, lawyers' and conveyancers' trust or office account cheques and Visa or MasterCard debit or credit cards. Land Victoria does not accept third party or personal cheques, or money orders.
From non-regular customers, Land Victoria accepts cash and Visa or MasterCard credit or debit cards. Land Victoria does not accept cheques of any description or money orders from non-regular customers. NB: for non-regular customers, Visa or MasterCard credit card is the only payment method for a lodgement submitted by mail.
Mail lodgement
If a lodgement is submitted by mail and the customer (both regular and non-regular customers) wishes to pay by credit card, the customer must provide a daytime phone contact number on the document(s) to be lodged and/or in a covering letter. A Land Victoria representative will call each customer after lodgement of their dealing(s) to process an EFTPOS credit card payment. Payment will be confirmed over the phone and no written record will be retained of the card used in the transaction. A receipt will be provided.
Updated Fees from 1 July 2013
Land Victoria search and lodging fees will increase from 1 July 2013.
The fee increases apply to the Transfer of Land Act, Subdivision Act, Property Law Act, Instruments Act and Water Act.
Search Fees will be available online from late May.
