      The Department of Sustainability and Environment's Planning Information Centre provides a range of services related to planning, heritage and building. Relevant to Planning Schemes Online:
      • Planning Schemes are available (in paper and electronic form)
      • Facilities such as photocopiers and computer terminals (with access to Government internet sites) are available.

    • Council Webpage
      Most Councils have a webpage. Planning Schemes Online pages can only include Council logos and webpage links at the request of council.
      • If a council has requested that its council webpage address be included in Planning Schemes Online - then all you have to do is select the appropriate Planning Scheme and click on the link to the council (links to council are found on the PS home page and the PS map page ... in the top right corner, and in the bottom footer).
      • If a council has NOT requested Planning Schemes Online include its council webpage address - then you should go to DVC Victorian Local Governments page, where you can find a directory of council contact details.

      The amount and type of information which councils publish online varies. Examples of the type of information which might be published are: planning information; council contact details; details about council services; details about upcoming events.
