Planned burns - get involved

There are many opportunities to learn more about DSE planned burns and to get involved in planning DSE's fire operations.

You can also get involved by contributing to fire operations planning during DSE's public process by making comments and suggestions about DSE's Fire Operations Plans. Suggest new burns, request changes to proposed burns and comment on other proposed fire operations activities such as slashing, mowing and other clearing activities.

Comments contributed during DSE's annual public process help to shape the final Fire Operations Plan for each DSE fire district. The Plans are released in October each year.

During the consultation period, draft plans can be accessed via a link on the Fire Operations Plan page.
