Community information sessions

Community information sessions are held across Victoria each year to discuss fire planning. These provide an opportunity for people to find out more about DSE fire management including the planned burning program.

In some areas targeted stakeholder engagement has replaced public information sessions, but FOP maps are available at local DSE and Parks Victoria offices.

Interested people are welcome and encouraged to get involved in fire planning in Victoria throughout the year and contribute their comments and suggestions. Your input is valued, together we can make Victoria fire ready.
