Travel warnings

You MUST NOT get caught on the road during a fire

Road closures
There are numerous road closures in place across the state. See the VicRoads website for closures, at www.vicroads.vic.gov.au

Victoria’s emergency services are warning Victorians to be aware of increased risk on days of Total Fire Ban in bushland, parks, coastal strips and other fire prone areas across the state. This risk extends to outer metropolitan parks and reserves.

In the event of essential travel, please plan ahead:

  • be familiar with all current warnings
  • listen to ABC or local radio stations
  • check the DEPI and CFA websites
  • contact the Victorian Bushfire Information Line on freecall 1800 240 667.
The public are asked to keep away from areas impacted by fires and to respect the privacy of those affected.
