Report of DPI's response to equine influenza (PDF 563Kb)
From August 2007 to March 2008 more than 350 DPI personnel were involved in an emergency response to keep Victoria free of equine influenza. DPI conducted an internal review of the effectiveness of the department's plans, processes and systems following the response. This report describes 12 lessons and 63 recommendations of the review, all of which are now being actioned.
