Our Environment, Our Future

The Our Environment, Our Future - Sustainability Action Statement 2006 was published in July 2006, and introduced a $200 million package of 150 priority sustainability initiatives to secure a sustainable state for future generations of Victorians.

It addressed these issues:

Responding to the challenge of climate change
Maintaining and restoring our natural assets
Using our resources more efficiently
Reducing our everyday environmental impacts
Government leadership
