Mount Disappointment State Forest trail bike visitor area - concept design
DSE have been working with a ladscape designer to develop plans for a Trail Bike Visitor Area in Mount Disappointment State Forest. A concept plan for this trail bike visitor area is now available. This design incorporates comments received from riders, other forest user groups and residents and is similar to designs that have been implemented in Gippsland. The location of the Trail Bike Visitor Area is on Leviathan track at the northern end of the State forest.
Interested groups or individuals looking to provide input are encouraged to contact the North East Trail Bike Project Officer.

Where can I ride?
There are many kilometres of forest roads and tracks to explore in North East Victoria. You are welcome to use these roads and tracks provided you are licensed, registered and over the age of 18. You must stay on the formed road and track network as riding 'off road' or on single lane tracks can cause significant damage to vegetation, waterways and native flora and fauna. Penalties do apply.
