Victorian Hunting Guide
The Hunting Guide is produced by the Game Management Unit and is designed to help you improve your hunting experience and keep you up to date with changes to game laws.
The Guide contains important information on firearm safety and hunter ethics, as well as information on current bag limits and season dates for all game species in Victoria.
All holders of a valid Game Licence receive, by post, a free copy of the Hunting Guide approximately one month prior to the commencement of the annual duck hunting season (ie. the third Saturday in March each year). Copies of the Guides are also provided to all new Game Licence applicants.

DSE is always looking for good quality slides or photographs to use in publications such as the Victorian Hunting Guide. If you have relevant hunting photos that you are willing for the Department to use, please contact the Game Management Unit on (03) 9637 9879. All contributions will be suitably acknowledged.
