Abstract of Field Records Template Formats

Licensed surveyors are required by Regulation 12 of the Surveying (Cadastral Surveys) Regulations 2005 to ensure that field information is recorded schematically on an abstract of field records. Licensed surveyors must certify the abstract of field records in accordance with Schedule 1 of the Regulations.

It is important that relevant survey information is clearly documented in a standard manner to avoid potential ambiguity or confusion. To achieve standardisation the Surveyor-General provides the following templates for licensed surveyors to use in the production of abstracts of field records.
