Valuation Property Classification Codes
| The Australian Valuation Property Classification Codes (AVPCC) is an aid to valuers providing rating authority and government asset valuations. The codes are being used by Victoria for the 2010 council revaluation. The attached codes, originally approved by the National Meeting of Valuers-General in March 2007, were updated in January 2009. The codes are three-digit and based on a hierarchy of primary, secondary and tertiary representation of a property's classification. To ensure the widespread acceptance and application of the AVPCC, each property code must be regarded as relevant and useful to valuers and property professionals. The committee that first developed the codes involved the Valuers-General from Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. Please note: Document(s) on this page are presented in PDF format.
