Locality names and boundary maps

Local councils determine the locality names and boundaries within their municipalities in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for Geographic Names (October 2004). Maps indicating the official boundaries for each locality in Victoria are provided below and are produced for each municipal area.

The locality names and boundaries represented on the maps have been approved for registration by the Registrar of Geographic Names as notified in the Victoria Government Gazette.
