Planning Law Essentials

Content
The complexity and the breadth of planning law becomes apparent when the planner understands that the planning scheme is an enforceable legal document for the use and development of land and that some rights are protected. There are a number of key legal principles that planners need to know to do their job. Familiarity with the application of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 is a focus in this half day presentation.

Note - there are other PLANET training programs that specifically cover planning scheme amendments, writing planning permit conditions and planning enforcement and compliance matters.
