Planning zoning definition plans
The Department provides a free service for the preparation of Planning Zoning Definition Plans.
These plans show the location of planning zones or overlay controls in situations where a zone or overlay boundary does not coincide with a property title boundary.

The Department will issue definition plans for those planning scheme areas where the Minister for Planning is responsible for issuing statutory planning certificates. These areas may be viewed on our planning certificates web page.
All requests for definition plans should be forwarded to the Planning Mapping Team at planning.mappingservices@dpcd.vic.gov.au
