The Environmental Effects Statement (EES) process was completed when the Minister for Planning released his Assessment of the proposed Wyndham Cove development in May 2006.

Project History
On 28 July 2004, the Minister for Planning determined that an EES was required for the proposed Wyndham Cove development.
The EES and Amendment C71 to the Wyndham Planning Scheme were placed on public exhibition from 7 July to 1 September 2005.
The Minister for Planning appointed an inquiry panel jointly under the Environment Effects Act 1978 and the Planning and Environment Act 1987. The Inquiry Panel Report is attached below:

Project Description
The proposal includes a marina complex and housing on land near the end of Duncans Road, Werribee South. The marina/safe harbour development would provide up to 1100 berths and associated marine facilities together with a yacht club, restaurants and retail space. The residential component would include up to 224 dwellings in detached houses and apartments.
