Werribee: Transit Cities Program

Transit Cities is a major Victorian Government program that will create opportunities for people to live and work in the same area - reducing the need to commute and increase time spent with family and friends. About Werribee Werribee is an important location because it: Is a major commerce and retail hub for the west Is well connected by rail to Melbourne's CBD Has considerable growth potential Werribee Transit City projects The Transit Cities projects will create mixed-use, medium-density development around the railway stations of Werribee and Hoppers Crossing.
