The 'Peak' development, proposes the construction of a 9 storey residential building comprising 111 apartments and 5 two storey town houses above a two level basement car park containing 266 spaces on land at 161 - 169 Jells Road, Wheelers Hill.

Monash Homemaker Centre
Referral of a request on behalf of Banchi Lodge Pty Ltd for assistance in breaking a perceived impasse with Monash Council. The impasse related to a request for a planning scheme amendment to facilitate redevelopment of the Monash Homemaker Centre site in Croydon. The PDP was asked to provde advice on how best to progress the matter, and to consult with Council, the propoent and any other relevant parties.
The PDP process for this referral:
- Council and proponent provided supporting material to the PDP in January 2007 and March 2007, respectively
- Workshop with Council and proponent was held in April 2007 to consider the merits of amendment request and development proposal, and to discuss and identify approaches for resolving issues.
- PDP recommended the Minister prepare a planning scheme amendment to be placed on exhibition and referred to an independent panel.
