![]() | Guidelines - Weeds The publication 'Guidelines and Procedures for Managing the Environmental Impacts of Weeds on Public Land in Victoria 2007' outlines a new framework for managing the environmental impacts of weeds on public land in Victoria. They replaced the Interim Guidelines published in 2006. |
![]() | Otways’ Case Study To assist public land managers and others consider how the threat of weeds affects the values they aim to protect, a new decision-support framework was developed (see Guidelines above). The Angahook-Otway region of Victoria was selected for a case study to pilot and evaluate the framework. This region is the focus of a major on-ground, multiple tenure weed project involving collaboration between public land managers. |

This report sets out the need for monitoring of weed effects on biodiversity, reviews existing monitoring schemes, and outlines issues to be considered in designing a monitoring protocol. |
