Summer's Coming!
Coast Action/Coastcare’s annual coastal activity program, Summer by the Sea will be back again in January 2010. Each year, the program introduces Victorians to their marine and coastal backyard by hosting a range of fun and educational coastal activities.
Over 10,000 Victorians enjoyed last year's program. Participants had the chance to meet rockpool occupants, paddle a canoe through a mangrove estuary, discover beach fossils, try snorkelling for the first time or meet a penguin-guarding Maremma dog.
