Recreational Fishing Spots - Western Port

The Victorian Fishing Atlas – 2001 identified 44 fishing spots and fishing locations in the Western Port region, from Flinders on the eastern side of Mornington Peninsula in the west to Waratah Bay in the east.

The table below shows that only two of these fishing spots are in a Marine National Park or Marine Sanctuary. Recreational fishing opportunities continue in the other 42 fishing spots in this region.

Marine National Parks and Marine Sanctuaries form approximately 6% of Western Port.
