Rural Land Use Change Conference 2002 - Proceedings

Drivers of Land Use Change | Driver Research | Conference 2002

Rural Land Use Change – YES! – But will biodiversity be okay?

The ‘Rural Land Use Change - YES! - But will biodiversity be OK?’ conference was held in August 2002 in Melbourne. The conference was organised early in the life of the Drivers of Land Use Change project in order to bring together people working in the areas of biodiversity conservation, agricultural land uses, land use change, the drivers of change, and policy solutions. It served as an effective catalyst for the project.

Speeches to the conference and independently refereed papers have been published in a proceedings document to serve as a guide for people from many walks of life who are interested in seeing our natural heritage improved for future generations. A CD ROM of the proceedings is available from Andrew Straker - andrew.straker@dse.vic.gov.au.
