Local Government Research Network

The Local Government Research Network (LGRN) is a network promoting best practice research and policy development within the 79 Local Government authorities in Victoria, Australia. The network is coordinated by members of the Spatial Information and Research Branch of the Department of Planning and Community Development.

Local Connections online is a quarterly newsletter for those involved in local government research and policy. The articles cover planned research, results or experiences of research which have been completed recently, evaluation of programs, research partnerships or other collaborations, and other activities which support the development of policy through research.
