Regional Matters 2005 - Coastal Development

Icon: Coastal Development
Coastal regions have experienced strong population growth in recent decades. This is in part due to the aesthetic and environmental attributes of these regions. This in turn has led to an increase in coastal dwelling construction and economic activity. Along with this growth come issues relating to appropriate levels of development, protection of environmental assets and community diversity.
