Local Connections Online

Icon: Local Connections
Local Connections is an initiative of the Local Government Research Network (LGRN). This quarterly newsletter is targeted to research and policy officers in local government in Victoria.
Local Connections - previous editions date back to 1997 when the LGRN was first set up.

Local Connections charter
Local Connections is compiled and edited on behalf of the Local Government Research Network by the DPCD's Spatial Analysis and Research branch. Local Connections aims to provide a forum for current local government research that links to policy development at the local or broader level. For each edition, we look for articles which cover planned research, results or experiences of research which has been completed recently, evaluation of programs, indicators for community wellbeing or benchmarking, community surveys, research partnerships or other collaborations, and other activities which support the development of policy through quality research.
