Icon: Energy Choices
Brown coal reserves currently provide the majority Victoria’s energy needs. As demand for energy increases, greater focus is being placed on alternative energy sources such as solar, hydro, wind, geothermal and biomass. Attention is also being given to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and changing business and personal behaviours to manage future energy demands.
