Accounts Receivable
The Department of Sustainability and Envirnoment (DSE) provides the following payment options to its customers.

What if I can't afford to pay?
If you are an individual experiencing financial hardship you may organise a payment plan with the department to pay your debts in instalments. Call the AR team on (03) 9637 9422 or email: accounts.info@dse.vic.gov.au
What if I don't pay or take any action?
You will receive three demand letters from the department after 30 days, 60 days and 90 days respectively. If after such time outstanding debts still have not been paid your debt will be referred to an external debt collector.
Advance payments
The department does not recommend its clients to make any advance payments. However, if for any circumstance a client makes an advance payment please inform the AR team on (03) 9637 9422 or email: accounts.info@dse.vic.gov.au
Fees on dishonoured cheques
The department will charge a fee of $110 for every dishonoured cheque drawn to the department. You will receive an invoice from the department for the amount of dishonoured cheque amount plus a dishonoured cheque fee of $110.
